Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous songs that dealt with racial identity and sexuality with an incisive and humorous perspective, before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. In the following years, she took up hip-hop and classical training. When she was in high school, she concentrated on the field of journalism as well as women's studies. She studied Mandarin briefly in Beijing. She turned her attention to music only after she completed her degree. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. On the album, there were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. With musician and author on her resume she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. Aside from early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, her breakthrough roles included Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP,"In Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
