Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. She received the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father is the theater professor for one of Romania's top acting schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year in 2000 at the Mangalia Young Actor Gala. She was honoured"an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She was for four years an instructor in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca - an actress of Romanian origin was the first actress to make her acting debut with Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV movie for which Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. Alongside her impressive performance in her debut film, the actress will also be recognized for her performance in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 Weeks as well as 2 Days which won her numerous awards, such as winning the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 three weeks and 2 zile" (4 Months Three Weeks And Two Days) which earned her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also won two other awards, the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. In addition, she appeared as an infant in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca appeared in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's popular Five Minutes of Heaven. In the film Fury (2014) in which she appeared as Irma, an German woman, who was Emma's aunt.
