Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely well-known American singer and actor. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is the daughter of a Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. She attended her audition in 1992, and was then offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. As well as taking private lessons in acting, she launched her career in the year 2000. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell took part in the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the role of the lead Dorothy part. After graduating, Bell made the move to New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in which she learned about musical theatre. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 to take on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part is cut off and the credits are all that depict her. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in The Crucible Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
