Alanis Morissette

Alanis Morissette, who is a native of Canada born June 1 1974 in Ottawa. Alanis can be described as the female form of Alan which is her father's birth name. She has two siblings: Chad (Alanis twin) as well as Wade. She started playing piano and guitar at the age of was just 21. In 1986 Alanis released a single titled Fate Stay with me (b-side: Find The Right Man). As a Canadian dance-pop artist who recorded two albums: Alanis (1991), and the album Now Is The Time (1992). The singer moved to Toronto when she was 18 and started working with musicians and writers, but the collaborations didn't work. Then she met her new partner in 1994: Glen Ballard. Alanis was able to come up with the idea of writing songs that was completely personal to her and based on her own life experiences. JLP is the 3rd most-sold album in the history of music and has been sold thirty million times across the world.
